The seventh edition of AIR CARGO INDIA, the most popular in the region and one of the best networked global biennial trade exhibition cum conference of the air cargo industry in India that just kicked off in Mumbai is expected to see a large gathering of more than 3000 shippers & visitors to attend an air cargo event.
The event started with a traditional inauguration ceremony led by the Mrs. Vandana Agarwal, Economic Advisor in Ministry of Civil Aviation who was the guest of honor. She visited the Saudia Cargo stand which was unique and of a thematic design focused on ‘Fly Perishables & Fly Pharma’ which drew the attention of her and the other delegates along with Mr. RK Patra, Group Editor-in-chief, STAT Media.
She emphasized on the strong relations and growing trade between the two countries and conveyed her thanks to Saudia Cargo’s efforts in facilitating business with India. Major Indian exports include fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, basmati rice, textiles and machinery, while it imports organic and inorganic chemicals, metal scrap, leather, gold and oil from Saudi Arabia.
