Saudi Airlines Cargo Company (SACC) has signed an agreement with the Saudi Academy for Civil Aviation (SACA) to train 873 of its employees in various aspects of the airfreight and the logistic operations.
Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdul Hakeem Bin Mohammed Al-Tamimi and SACC’s Chairman Fawwaz Al-Fawwaz attended the signing ceremony.
This is the second agreement to be signed by SACC in 2018 to provide training to its staff.
The training program will cover wide-ranging areas including airports’ security, operational safety, GACA’s by-laws and regulations, the rules of the airfields, the dangerous stuff, plans to response to emergency situations, the terminologies of air freight and others.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of SACC, Omar Talal Hariri and head of SACA Fahd bin Sulaiman Al Harbi, President of the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, who said that this partnership will last for two years and begins in next May.
Omar pointed out that employees will be offered around 558 courses during the agreed period. He also stressed the company’s efforts to provide training and development programs to more than 1000 employees from different sectors of shipping and logistics during the coming period in light of the Strategy 2020 Transformation plan launched by Saudia Cargo early 2017 in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in order to support the labor market, improve the skills and performance of staff and achieve high quality rates on service levels and products.
